Located 1.5 miles west of the Arboretum entrance on Highway 5 (at the intersection with Rolling Acres Road), the AppleHouse offers an ever-changing inventory of apples including many University of Minnesota introductions – from the early Zestars! to the newest darling - the SweeTango - to the enduring favorites Honeycrisps, Haralsons and Snowsweets and many more!

Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is one of several Chanhassen entities with a booth at the Minnesota State Fair. The dinner theater booth, where visitors can pick up a buy one-get one free coupon and have a free photo taken in the All Shook Up logo, is in the upper grandstand.

Both suspects in last summer's armed robberies in Carver County are now in jail.
The perennial MiracleKids Triathlon is scheduled for this Saturday in Lake Ann Park from about 8 to 11:30 a.m. for kids ages 11 to 17. It is the largest fundraiser for the Miracles of Mitch Foundation, which donates money to families of kids with cancer.
