May 7, 2008 - 11:34am  On a clear Tuesday morning in City Center Park, city staff arrange framed Fourth of July t-shirts for a photo shoot. The shirts commemorate each year of Chanhassen's city celebration.
Chanhassen golfer hits first ace of season at Chaska Town CourseMay 2, 2008 - 2:23pm — ChanHawkThis spring has not afforded Minnesota golfers much course time, but players have notched some successes so far. Tom Peterson, assistant golf pro at the Chaska Town Course, reported the first hole-in-one at the course in 2008. Adam Olson of Chanhassen hit a hole-in-one on the par-3, 171-yard 12th hole at the Town Course on May 1. Olson used a 9-iron for the ace. - by Tim McGovern Chanhassen Villager Sports Editor Students excel at martial artsMay 1, 2008 - 8:59am — FAdams Four local students talked about what TaeKwon-do has meant to their lives. They are third-degree black belts, and they teach younger students. Prior to becoming teachers, TaeKwon-Do students must spend a minimum of one year developing a presence and leadership qualities as an instructor.
