No. 5 Class AAAA State ranked Tucker was everything Ringgold had imagined in the Tigers’ preseason scrimmage. They were big, strong, fast and they had several play-makers. The visiting Tigers defeated Ringgold 48-14 after three varsity quarters at Don Patterson Stadium. Ringgold’s only two touchdowns were scored late in the fourth quarter.

Blake Armitage ran it in for six from one yard out with 6:12 reaming.

Zac Fairchild scored on a quarterback keep from six yards out with :08 to play.
