Why The Strait House?

I got a few e mails asking me why did I pick the Strait House for the Ghost Stories event.

The Strait house is a historical landmark and it’s right in our back yard and not many people know about it. When was the last time you were at the Strait house? Landmarks such as The Strait House need to have a little attention brought to them and in my small way that is what I am doing.

Do ghost feel?

When we die dose everything die with us? Do all of our emotions, such as fear, the feelings of love and hate, happiness and sadness, our curiosity, everything that makes us human still linger on after we are gone?

The answer is yes.

After we pass we are the same person we were when we were alive. I have found a spirit that said they were afraid, or a sound of a sobbing no.

I have called Jordan my home now for 4 years. Since I moved here, I have travel up and down the 169 all times of the day and night.

Many times I am asked what do spirits look like and why some people see spirits while others do not.

Let’s answer the last question first.

It’s not sure as to why some people see a spirit while others do not. My personnel theory is that a lot will depend on the energy of the spirit as well as the psychic ability of the viewer.

Our Hunted Weekend….Day 2

After a very tasty breakfast, everyone gathered in the back yard relaxing, having our coffee and discussing their experiences at the Holt house. The spirits seem to like Mary and had only showed themselves once to her. However, will have a verity of friends and family who will visit and spend the night over. They are the ones who seem to have the unusual experiences. It will be from strange noises to seeing dark misty shapes to smelling breakfast cooking in the middle of the night.
