Items on the city council’s consent agenda are approved without discussion unless a member of the council asks for an item to be removed. The following were on the Jan. 12 consent agenda.

Lake Ann ball field #3 was converted from a multi-purpose field to a dedicated youth Little League field. Conversion of this field requires a fence to be erected at 225 feet and the replacement of the field’s ag-lime infield with grass. The estimated total cost for this is $5,000.

The council approved the Park and Recreation Volunteer and Service Award Recognition Program; adopted the feasibility report for the 2009 street rehabilitation improvement projects; approved the request from the Chanhassen Rotary Club for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license to sell alcoholic beverages at the February Festival on Feb. 7 on Lake Ann; and approved a resolution entitling the city and MnDOT to partner on landscaping projects in the area of the Highway 1012 South realignment.
