A new 18-hole premier disc golf course will open at Bryant Lake Regional Park, Eden Prairie, on Monday, June 16, and you can golf it for free through June 30.
The new course features mown fairways, awesome views of Bryant Lake, and challenging new features. These new features include fairways through oak woods, rugged terrain and shooting off of bluffs and ledges. The six new holes added to the shorter existing course make the skill level of this par 63 course moderate to high.
Three Rivers Park District would like to give disc golfers the opportunity to try this exciting new course for free! So come on out between June 16 and June 30 and give it a whirl. Beginning July 1 the cost of a daily pass is $3 and a season pass is available for just $30.
Hours of operation are sunrise to sunset. Due to the tender new grass, the course may close occasionally (weather dependent) to ensure that the turf becomes well established. For updated information call the course’s news line at 763-694-7764, or visit threeriversparks.org.
For avid disc golfers a $30 season pass allows access to the courses at Bryant Lake, Hyland Ski and Snowboard Area, and in the coming months, Elm Creek Park Reserve. Pass may be purchased at Bryant, HSSA, and by calling Three Rivers at 763/559-9000.
