Preparing for the big ticket? By Forrest Adams Governor Tim Pawlenty was in Chaska speaking to the Chanhassen Chamber of Commerce last Tuesday, instead of attending the March for Life in Washington, D.C., as he has every year since he was first elected.
This has caused some to speculate that he missed the event because he's on most Republican candidates' short list to join a ticket as the vice presidential nominee. The speculation goes that politicians with national ambitions do not mix with pro-life activists. What do you think?

They claim it is a reflection of the growing discontent among conservative Republicans in Minnesota about Pawlenty aligning with more liberal members of the politic regarding issues like global warming and the S-CHIP bill that was twice vetoed by President Bush.
