Whether we want to accept it or not, most of us do have a spirit living with us. It is on the rare occasions that some spirits become tired of living in the background and want to become more involve with the family that dwell in “their” home.

Their home, yes many spirits do feel that the house is theirs and they are allowing us to live with them. Spirits are very much aware of us and do like to stand by and enjoy the activities of the living, sometimes even joining in. Most people don’t see beyond the box so they are not aware of these spirits. Sometimes when they do encounter something strange they dismiss it, the “I didn’t see that” syndrome. It only when things happen too often the people will start to wonder. “Am I going nuts or is this really happening?”
That’s when a ghost hunter is called in.

This is a story about a new house north of Jordan. The house is less then 10 years old.

When Michael and Anne looked at the house, they thought the owners acted strangely. Their child refused to look at them, and the couple was rude. At first they figured that it must have been some financial problems that is making the couple sell their new home. They lived in it for about 2 years. They shrugged it off and bought their dream home. It was new, had a large back yard. In the back was a preserve with the river near by. They figured that it was perfect for the kids to play and they could watch the wild life from their back door. The couple moved out quickly and when they gave Michael and Anne the keys all they said to them was “Good luck to you” and quickly left. Strange thing to say they thought.

As all new owners know you need to have the cable installed, and the meters checked and read when you first move in so you can start fresh. The couple made an appointment for the cable man to come over and Michael who was working near by in construction would meet the cable man when he arrives. He told the cable man that the door in the garage was left unlocked and he should come in and start and he would be there in a few minutes. When he arrived he found the cable man still outside, the door from the garage was locked, as Michael walked into the house he saw the front door as left wide open. Puzzled, he knew he had bolted the door before he left the house, and why and how did the garage door get locked?

As the family moved in the house and started staying there, they would wake up in the middle of the night with sounds of the cabinet’s opening and closing. They also would find the front door wide open when they knew they locket it the night before. Several times they would be awaken by the sound of something heavy dropping in the hallway. “This is not normal house settling noises.” Michael would tell his wife. Anne contacted the previous owners and asked them if they had ever experienced anything strange in the house. They became angry and said to them “If you think the house is haunted, then call a priest” This shocked Anne. She had never mentioned the house being haunted. Could this be true? Is this why the previous owners moved out of their new home after only 2 years?
There is no way a new house could be haunted, Anne thought.

Even though Michael and Anne are still quite young and they have young children, they are also grandparents of a lovely little girl. One day when the grand daughter was spending the night, Anne heard her talking someone in her bedroom. Anne opened the door and asked her who she is talking to? She said she was talking to the little girl with the long black hair and long shirt. Her son started complaining about people talking in the hallway in the middle of the night.

One day while Michael was alone in the house working on a project, he had the radio playing, suddenly the radio turned off. He went to check it and everything was all right with it except the knob was turned to the off position. He turned it back on and went back to his work, once again the radio turned off. He became angry and he yelled out “who ever is turning off my radio turn it back on and leave it alone!” the radio turned back on. Startled over what had happened, he started walking toward the radio, suddenly he felt a coldness go right through him and had an over powering feeling of sadness. When Anne came home he told her what happened. “I never want to feel that again” he told her. He went to change his shirt, when he found welt like scratches on his chest, this frighten him and he wanted to move out of the house. Soon after that, one morning he opened the door to his bedroom to go downstairs and he saw a little girl standing in the hallway. She had long black hair and wore a long shirt.

It would seem that this unseen spirit is terrorizing the family. Anne has experienced welt like scratches as well as their son. She had found her granddaughter hiding under a blanket calling the room she was in creepy and now refuses to go in there. She won’t say what has happened to her in there.
