Christopher Fuhrman is asking the courts to clear his record of homicide charges, almost four years after the brutal murder of Nancy Everson.
The 52-year-old wife and mother of two, was shot dead in her Chaska home on Jan. 15, 2006.
Four individuals were later charged in her death, including her son Grant and his friends Joel Beckrich, Michael Gulden and Fuhrman.

A Carver County jury found Chaska teen Brody Bermel (Roehlke) not guilty on all charges in the death of Kirk Anderson. Bermel, 17, was charged with three counts of murder for his involvement in an altercation on Aug. 6, 2008 in which he struck Anderson with a steel pipe, ultimately resulting in his death. Bermel's attorney argued that Bermel was acting in self defense. The verdict was returned shortly after 6 p.m. after approximately six hours of deliberation.

Carver County Attorney Jim Keeler announced today that Luke Campbell, age 20, of Chaska, MN, was sentenced to 72 months in prison on June 17, 2009. Campbell pled guilty to two felonies - Second Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance for possessing 10.5 grams of cocaine and possessing a bullet proof vest while committing a felony – and one gross misdemeanor for possessing a pistol without a permit.
Carver County Attorney Jim Keeler announced a guilty plea yesterday in the death of a pedestrian that occurred in downtown Chaska, MN late last year. Gregory Todd Benedix, 43, of Chaska, MN pled guilty to Failing to Yield to a Pedestrian in a Crosswalk – a misdemeanor. The State dismissed another similar charge in exchange for his guilty plea.
