Funny that Sarvi would use the partisan line of the left in calling the Bush administration "far right wing" at a time when "true believers," i.e. conservatives, in the party are slamming Bush's policies that have allowed the federal government to grow more during his administration than ever since Lyndon Johnson was president.

That's not right wing. It's out-of-control spending, which drives people crazy. For Kline to now be denouncing the spending through his refusal to feed at the trough for federal earmarks to fund pet projects in the home district, it would seem he's acting against the administration. Oh wait, Bush has said in his previous two state of the union speeches that he's against earmarks, too. He's a few years too late.

Maybe a better strategy for Sarvi in this district would be to run as a blue-dog Democrat, not a MoveOn.org Democrat. It's just a thought.
