Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is one of several Chanhassen entities with a booth at the Minnesota State Fair. The dinner theater booth, where visitors can pick up a buy one-get one free coupon and have a free photo taken in the All Shook Up logo, is in the upper grandstand.

In the heat of Thursday evening, the brother songwriting team of Ian and Teague Alexy, known as the Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank, played to a characteristically polite and passive crowd in Chanhassen's City Center Park.
KidSync, karaoke for the young at heart, returns to Chanhassen Dinner Theatres in August after a one-year hiatus in the Chanhassen Recreation Center. The karaoke fun will be offered every Thursday in August from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Club Theatre.
The cost is $6 at the door, with pizza, hot dogs, and more available at an additional charge. For more information, go to www.kidsync.com.

On an unusually warm April evening, Chaska residents may have been surprised to stumble upon a blanket of fresh snow near the flood diversion channel on Hickory Street. Turns out it wasn’t a cruel joke by Mother Nature, but a movie set.
