American Legion Post 580 in Chanhassen is raising money and resources to build a permanent monument in City Center Park on the front lawn of City Hall and Chanhassen Library. Soldier from Chanhassen dies

Robert "Robby" W. Guilfoil, 23, of Chanhassen, and formerly of Waco, TX, passed away on March 2, 2008, in Little Rock, AR due to a motorcycle accident.

He is survived by his parents, Kim and John Guilfoil; brothers, Michael and Chris Guilfoil; grandmother, Pam Bishop; great- grandmother, Mildred Whiten; aunts, Anne Whilton, D'Angela Day; uncles, Terry Whiten, Bruce Whilton; other family members and his dog, Baron.
