It’s nice to believe things are getting better in Chanhassen, and according to three years of citizen survey data, they are.
Council rejects Halla sign request

With little discussion and no opposition on Monday night the Chanhassen City Council voted unanimously to deny a Chanhassen business owner’s request to install an electronic message sign advertising his business.
What's happening at 6724 Lotus Trail?
The homeowner is facing two felonies and a misdemeanor, and he's prevented from returning there as a condition of his release from jail. Yet, there seems to be plenty of activity around the place.
Chanhassen Station may look like a huge parking lot of mud, but here are three recent stories explaining its purpose. The city council approved construction plans. The council approved creation of a tax increment finance district in the area surrounding the future station. Construction began this summer.
