November 26, 2007 - 12:23pm — FAdams
Chanhassen City Councilors and the mayor will discuss capital improvement projects scheduled to take place between 2008 and 2012 during this evening's 5:30 p.m. work session in the Fountain Conference room at City Hall. Following the work session, Councilors will go into the the 7 p.m. City Council meeting, where Sgt. Peter Anderley is scheduled to give a law enforcement update, and Chief Gregg Geske is scheduled to give a report on behalf of the Chanhassen Fire Department. Nancy Kracke from District 112 is schedule to be on hand in order to make a presentation regarding the Chanhassen High School Storm logo, which echoes a logo used by a minor league baseball team in California and one used by a 9-man football team in Minnesota (Stephen/Argyle the recent nine-man football state champs for the fifth year in a row). New business on the council's agenda consists of a conditional use permit and site plan review amendements to allow a 145-foot telecommunication tower with a 4-foot lightning road and a 6-foot privacy fence west of Great Plains Boulevard, north of Creekwood Drive, south of Halla Nursery and east of Bluff Creek Golf Course. City Hall is located at 7700 Market Boulevard.
