Guests at the annual Chanhassen Safety Camp last week were from the Carver County Sheriff’s Office, Chanhassen Fire Department, Minnesota National Guard, the city of Chanhassen and the Minnesota State Patrol.

Together with the help of a motivational speaker whose life was changed when he didn’t wear a motorcycle helmet, the presenters encouraged the 100 third and fourth-grade safety campers to be safe. The event was attended by 100 children, said the Chanhassen Crime Prevention Specialist, Beth Hoiseth.
