Fishery survey to guide future stocking plans

The fishing on Lotus Lake is “lousy this summer.”
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is on Lotus Lake this week surveying the lake's fishery. Based on the DNR fish survey in 2004, Lotus ranked among the best walleye lakes in the Twin Cities. On the second day of research, DNR researchers said the lake's walleye population seems "on track."
