From the gas pump to the lunchroom, rising prices are ubiquitous.
Students and by extension their parents will be paying more for school lunches in the Minnetonka School District next school year.
The cost of delivering food is up, and the price of food is up- a double whammy. At their May meeting, the Minnetonka School Board approved a 15-cent increase in the price of lunches in the elementary, middle and high schools.
Elementary lunches are up to $2.35, middle school lunches to $2.50 and high school lunches to $2.70.
