Founder and CEO of Youth Frontiers, Inc. Joe Cavanaugh will help parents learn how to instill important values in their children.
In an effort to support district parents as they work to raise children who are kind and respectful, the Tonka CARES coalition will host parent speaker Joe Cavanaugh on Tuesday, Dec. 9. Cavanaugh is the founder and CEO of Youth Frontiers, Inc., a nonprofit organization that collaborates with schools to create more positive school communities.
Cavanaugh will share with parents the critical importance of character development among young people in schools. Parents will learn the four values Cavanaugh believes are vital for young people as well as how to effectively instill these values into their child’s life.

This speaking event will begin with an update on the work of the Tonka CARES Coalition in our community. Tonka CARES works to reduce underage substance use.
