February 22, 2008 - 5:42pm — rcraw
Carver County Sheriff Bud Olson announces that Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kyle Douglas Stellick, age 21 of Bloomington, MN for burglarizing a business in Chanhassen on Monday February 18, 2008. Deputies responded to a report of a burglary at the Heritage Apartments leasing office located on Chan View Street in Chanhassen at 7:19 AM on Monday February 18, 2008. By mid morning Bloomington Police called the Sheriff’s Office about a suspicious male in possession of property from the Chanhassen business. Sheriff’s deputies were able to verify the property had been taken in a burglary of the business over night. Based on this information Bloomington Police did arrest Kyle Stellick and held him for the Sheriff’s Office. Carver County Sheriff’s deputies then picked up Stellick from Bloomington and transported him to the Carver County jail to await court. Kyle Stellick, who has a criminal history of burglary, appeared in Carver County Court on February 20, 2008, charged with burglary, theft and damage to property, each being a felony. He is also facing a gross misdemeanor damage to property charge. Stellick’s bail was set at $7,500 bail or $750 cash. On February 22, 2008 Stellick again appeared in court and his bail was reduced to $5,000 or $500 cash. Anyone with information related to this or any other crime is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 952-361-1212.
