The Carver County deputies assigned to the cities of Chanhassen, Victoria, and Carver and the townships of Laketown, San Francisco and Dahlgren responded to the following calls from June 22 – June 28:

 June 22

At 2:22 p.m., responded to the intersection of Highway 7/ Leslee Curve in Chanhassen where a vehicle hit a tree. A woman was cited for inattentive driving.

At 9:31 p.m., responded to the intersection of Highway 5/ Lone Cedar Lane in Chanhassen for a report of a vehicle-deer collision.

At 11:27 p.m., responded to the 6600 block of Alder Way in Chanhassen for a report of property damage. Three men were cited for trespassing.

At 11:44 p.m., responded to the 2000 block of Highgate Circle in Chanhassen for a fireworks and loud noise complaint.

June 23

At 5:47 p.m., responded to the 300 block of Pleasant View Road in Chanhassen for a report of a suspicious dead deer.

At 7:17 p.m., responded to the intersection of Kerber Boulevard and 78th Street West in Chanhassen for a traffic stop. A Chanhassen man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and a seatbelt violation.

At 8:40 p.m., responded to the 900 block of 78th Street West in Chanhassen for a traffic stop. A Chanhassen man was arrested for 3rd degree DWI, open container and traffic violations.

June 24

At 2:22 a.m., responded to the 7600 block of Laredo Drive in Chanhassen where a man was arrested on a Stearns County warrant and cited for underage consumption.

At 6:31 a.m., responded to the 2300 block of Timberwood Drive in Chanhassen where property damage had been reported to a fence. The damage was estimated at $25.

At 9:50 a.m., responded to the 6500 block of Troendle Circle in Chanhassen where there was a theft from a vehicle reported. A laptop estimated at a $1500 value was reported stolen.

At 12:54 p.m., responded to the 3800 block of Forest Ridge Circle in Chanhassen where a Chanhassen man was arrested for controlled substance violations.

At 5:34 p.m., responded to the intersection of Highway 5/ Great Plains Boulevard in Chanhassen. An 18-year-old Eden Prairie woman was cited for failure to drive with due care.

At 7:23 p.m., responded to the 7400 block of Chanhassen Road in Chanhassen for a report of a vehicle theft. A motorcycle, with an estimated value of over $5,000 was reported stolen.

At 10:22 p.m., responded to the 500 block of 79th Street West in Chanhassen for a report of a stolen wallet. The estimated loss was $160.

June 25

At 8:12 a.m., responded to the 4000 block of Kings Road in Chanhassen for an aggressive dog complaint.

At 12:33 p.m., responded to the intersection of Highway 101/ Lake Susan Drive in Chanhassen for a traffic stop. A Savage woman was cited for inattentive driving.

At 10:48 p.m., responded to the intersection of Great Plains Boulevard/ Highway 5 in Chanhassen for a driving complaint. A Mound man was arrested for DWI.

    June 26

At 12:02 a.m., responded to the 200 block of Fox Hollow Drive in Chanhassen for a reported underage party. Six people were cited for underage consumption.

At 7:57 a.m., responded to the intersection of Flying Cloud Drive/ Highway 101 in Chanhassen for a reported hit and run accident.

At 9:07 a.m., responded to the 10500 block of Great Plains Boulevard in Chanhassen for a reported hit and run accident.

At 10:54 a.m., responded to the 7500 block of Quattro Drive in Chanhassen for a report of property damage by graffiti.

At 11:03 a.m., responded to the 7500 block of Park Drive in Victoria for a report of a stolen tackle box. The estimated loss was more than $300.

At 1:05 p.m., responded to the 4100 block of Leslee Curve in Chanhassen for a report of property damage. The estimated damage was more than $2,800.

At 6:04 p.m., responded to the 500 block of 78th Street West in Chanhassen for an accident. A Burnsville man was cited for inattentive driving and an unsafe turn.

June 27

At 10:31 p.m., responded to the 7700 block of Chanhassen Road in Chanhassen for a fireworks complaint.

June 28

At 1:11 a.m., responded to the intersection of Highway 5/ Rolling Acres Road in Victoria for a traffic stop. A Victoria man was arrested for DWI, speeding and failure to signal a turn.

At 10:49 a.m., responded to the 400 block of Chan View in Chanhassen for a burglary. Unknown men reportedly entered the apartment and a check card was stolen.

At 9:29 p.m., responded to the intersection of Highway 5/ Minnewashta Parkway in Victoria for a traffic stop. A Minnetonka boy was arrested for fleeing police, and reckless and careless driving.

There were several other reports of motor vehicle vs. deer collisions this week in Chanhassen and the surrounding areas.
