The National Weather Service in Chanhassen issued a hazardous weather outlook Monday morning for Twin Cities counties, including Carver and Scott, Dakota and Hennepin. A statement from the Weather Service read, "A wide area of steady snow is falling across the far southeast corner of Minnesota and the west half of Wisconsin... Snow is tapering to flurries across the rest of Eastern Minnesota and should end before noon across the Win Cities Metro area."
