Thanksgiving in Chaska means one thing: The Brick City Hockey Tournament.
The 16th annual classic will host 27 metro youth hockey teams from Friday through Sunday, including a dozen Squirt ‘C’ teams, nine Pee Wee C teams and six Bantam ‘C’ squads.
A skills tournament is scheduled for Saturday afternoon, and players and parents will have a chance to check out some of the latest hockey gear and accessories in the hockey trailer from Sports Diamond.
Pauly’s American Grill, will sponsor a grill at the tournament that will offer burgers, brats and chicken sandwiches to the some 1,500 to 1,800 players and relatives throughout the weekend.
