Little Leaguers with T.C. Bear

Lake Ann Fields in Chanhassen will be a beehive of activity Saturday as the Chanhassen Little League holds Opening Day festivities.

The all-day event features 760 players on dozens of teams – all of which will play games during the all-day extravaganza, which runs 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The highlight will be a parade of the Chanhassen Little League baseball and softball teams from 11 a.m. to noon.

Minnesota Twins mascot T.C. Bear will make a special guest appearance, and the concession stands will be open for business, with proceeds benefiting the Chanhassen Little League.

Kids will have a chance to compete in the free Pitch, Hit & Run competition, sponsored by Pepsi.
