Chaska lefthanded pitcher Brad Hand was front and center on Wednesday night as the Hawks took on Eden Prairie at Athletic Park.
The Hawks made it two in a row over the Eagles as Hand went the distance in a 9-1 drubbing.
Hand struck out 13 in a five-hit shutout on April 19 as Chaska won 5-0.
It was Chaska's first baseball game in a week, but the Hawks will not have to wait so long for the next one. Friday's game against Bloomington Jefferson was moved up to this afternoon (Thursday, May 1). Game time is 3:45 p.m. at Athletic Park.
The Jaguars topped the Hawks 2-1 on May 9.
The Hawks are 8-3 overall and 7-3 and are tied with Apple Valley for third place in the Lake Conference, behind Eastview (10-1). Lakeville North is 6-2.
