Snow, rain and softball just don't mix.

Legacy Park, the new softball complex at Minnetonka High School, was to be the center of a dedication celebration on Saturday. But the wet weather has pushed back the festivities to Saturday, May 10.

Chaska was to play the Skippers at 2 p.m., following a dedication ceremony.

The Hawks had their Friday game at Eagan postponed to May 6.

The schedule of events for May 10:

9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - 10U, 12U and 14U modified pitch games on Fields 2 and 3

11 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Grills open for business - Maynards burgers. Also,f ace painting, inflatable obstacle course and jumping pit

12:30 to 6 p.m. - Coach pitch, fastpitch and slow pitch games.

1:45 to 2 p.m. - Legacy Fields Dedication on Field 2, National Anthem and First Pitch

2 p.m. - Minnetonka Skippers vs Chaska Hawks Varsity Fastpitch

2:30 to 4 p.m. - Minnetonka Skippers High School slow pitch club team game
