Carver County Sheriff Byron ‘Bud’ Olson reports that his office received a 9-1-1 call at 10:55 AM on Friday May 09, 2009 that a car had crashed into a house in Mayer.   Deputies responded to the scene along with Mayer Fire Rescue and Ridgeview Ambulance.  They found a 2005 Lincoln car had struck a residence at 209 Blue Jay Avenue.  The home was vacant at the time of the accident and sustained damage in the area of the front steps.  The car sustained significant damage in the accident.   The driver of the car, Kari Kramer, age 47 was transported from the scene by ambulance.  A 5 year old girl, also in the vehicle at the time of the crash, did not appear to be injured.   The Carver County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash.
