Statement from the National Weather Service Office in Chanhassen:

     The active weather pattern during the past two weeks for the Midwest continues into tonight and will impact the local area this time.  As a low pressure approaches from South Dakota, there is a risk of severe weather across the local area, primarily within central and southern Minnesota.  Tornadoes are possible with this risk, mainly in south central Minnesota later this afternoon into the evening.  The rainfall today coupled with more persistent and at times heavy rain tonight also warrants a flooding concern in southern and eastern Minnesota and west central Wisconsin.  Follow the below information for more details.
