The University of Minnesota carp research team from Sorensen Labs successfully removed approximately 7,000 pounds of carp from Lake Riley on Friday. The carp seine was deemed a success by Przemek Bajer, a post-doctoral associate working on the carp research.

Family of Christ Lutheran Church's rendition of "The Sound of Music" hits the right note. Encore presentations will be given on Saturday, Feb. 27 (2 and 7 p.m.), and Sunday, Feb. 28 (2 p.m.).
